The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) through the RAAP group of the I3A, the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and the company Huawei Technologies have launched the first joint research and innovation unit (Joint Innovation Lab) that the Chinese multinational has promoted in Spain. So far, the development of two variants of a new congestion control mechanism for the Ethernet network has been published, two joint patents have been filed and the standardization process in IEEE and IETF is nearing completion.
