Study Programme - Bachelor’s Degree in Building Engineering

S

TUDY PROGRAMME OF THE BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUILDING ENGINEERING OF THE POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL OF CUENCA.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Building Engineering generally aims to provide suitable training based on a European profile in the theoretical and technical foundations and the technologies inherent to the building sector, within a framework focused on the capacity for ongoing improvement and knowledge transmission. The adaptation to the European Higher Education Area alsoresults in a significant change to study programmes in which the student’s overall work is graded to pass a given subject.

An ECTS credit is defined as a student’s average work unit, estimated between 25 and 30 hours (25 hours at the UCLM). Each academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS, equivalent to a full-time student job. The ECTS credits system allows for the actual duration of the studies to be more closely matched to the duration established in the study programme

The objectives and competences that are acquired in this degree course, published in Official State Gazette E-A-2010-3585, are set out in the following list of objectives and competences.
