Internationalization

The Internationalization is an essential factor in improving the quality and efficiency of Spanish universities and is one of the key strategies of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), an institution with a clear dynamic and competitive character in the national and international areas.

The concept of internationalization is not restricted to student mobility and international agreements, but to a series of initiatives or projects aimed at placing a valuable human capital in line with the new demands of an increasingly competitive global market.

Globalization and the need for knowledge affect all countries and, in this line, the university is committed to becoming a magnet capable of attracting talent and knowledge-related capital from all over the world. All this without forgetting the benefits that internationalization gives to the improvement of education, research, innovation and regional socio-economic development.

Without doubt, in this new context the University of Castilla-La Mancha is called to play a fundamental role as provider of qualified human capital, generating new knowledge and transmitting the existing to the productive field and global society.
